2021: Made three appearances as a receiver ... first game as a Cardinal came at Wyoming (Sept. 18) ... caught first pass for four yards in same game ... also saw game action at Western Michigan (Oct. 9) and vs. Georgia State (Dec. 25).

2020: Did not see game action.

2019: Did not see any game action … took a redshirt season.

PRIOR TO BALL STATE: Spent the 2018-19 academic year at Purdue Northwest where he competed on the basketball team … finished second on the team in scoring (10.2 ppg) and led the squad in assists (59) and steals (29).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters from coach Jason West at Warren Central High School … two-time all-state pick … threw for 873 yards and 10 scores as a senior … also tallied four receiving touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns and one kickoff return for a score … competed in the 2018 Indiana North vs South All-Star football game, catching nine passes for 102 yards and a touchdown … recorded 51 catches for 835 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior … led the Warriors to the 2018 state basketball title (32-0) where he scored a game-high 22 points in the title game … Indiana All-Star as a senior … qualified for the Honor Roll all four years.

PERSONAL: Son of Coy Tate … has two brothers.
