2023: Played six games with no starts ... tallied two solo tackles and three assisted tackles ... career-high two total tackles against Georgia (Sept. 9) and Indiana State (Sept. 16).
PRIOR TO BALL STATE: Spent two seasons at Illinois … redshirted in 2021 and did not see action in 2022.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Tampa Catholic High School … played for coach Jeris McIntyre … helped lead the squad to an 11-3 record and a district championship his senior year … earned second team all-state as a junior and honorable mention honors as a senior … two-time all-conference honorable mention … Coach's Award as a junior and senior … first team all-county as a senior and second team all-county as a junior … team's Defensive MVP as a junior … collected 43 tackles, including 3.0 tackles for loss, as a senior … added four interceptions and two fumble recoveries … finished his career with 55 tackles, five interceptions, and three fumble recoveries … also competed in track and field for Tampa Catholic … regional and district champion in the 4x400m relay and the 400m dash … district champion in the high jump and district runner-up in the 100m.
