2020 (R-Sr.): Started all eight games as a hybrid fullback/tight end … caught 12 passes for 110 yards on the season … hauled in a season-high three receptions in road wins at Toledo and Central Michigan … set a career high with 35 receiving yards in the Toledo game … caught at least one pass in each of the final seven games, including one each in the MAC Championship Game victory over No. 23 Buffalo and the Arizona Bowl win over No. 19 San Jose State … helped to block for a BSU rushing attack that averaged 178 yards per game … member of the football program’s leadership council.

2019 (R-Jr.): Played in all 12 games with seven starts at fullback … also utilized on special teams … hauled in his first collegiate touchdown on a 3-yard catch in the Fordham game on Sept. 7 … also tallied a reception in the win at Eastern Michigan on Oct. 12 … did not record any rushes … helped the Cardinals average 219.4 rushing yards per game … notched three tackles at Kent State on Nov. 23.

2018 (R-So.): Logged time in all 12 games on special teams and as a fullback … earned the start against Kent State on Sept. 29 … notched a tackle against Northern Illinois (Oct. 6) and Western Michigan (Nov. 13).

2017 (R-Fr.): Made the switch from linebacker to fullback during the preseason … played in 11 games with two starts … also utilized on special teams … made his collegiate debut against UAB on Sept. 9 … his first collegiate reception, an 11-yard catch and run, set up a Ball State touchdown at WKU on Sept. 23 … chipped in with two tackles at Northern Illinois on Nov. 9.

2016 (Fr.): Took a redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters in football for coach Scott Widner at Shenandoah High … two-time all-state linebacker … named an Indiana North-South all-star … three-time team MVP … piled up 496 tackles, four interceptions and four blocked punts as a prepster … helped the Raiders win two sectional titles and finish third in the state as a senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Chad Rudy and Jody Martin … born May 24, 1997 … two brothers and one sister … full name is Cody P. Rudy … his mother was a four-year starter on the Louisville women’s basketball team.
