Took on the role of recruiting coordinator in the winter of 2020 … helped coach the 2020 team to the program's first MAC Championship since 1996, its first-ever bowl victory in the Arizona Bowl and its first year-end rankings in the AP and coaches polls ... coached three of the most prolific receivers in Ball State history in BSU career receptions leader Justin Hall, previous record-holder KeVonn Mabon (2nd) and Jordan Williams (6th) ... mentored Hall to All-MAC honors four straight seasons, including first-team recognition in 2019 and 2020 ... Hall earned ESPN.com Freshman All-America honors in 2017 after leading all freshmen nationally in receptions (78) and ranking fourth among all freshmen in receiving yards (801) ... coached Riley Miller to second-team All-MAC honors in 2018 and 2019 ... Miller (2018) and Mabon (2016) were both named team MVP … Williams went on to earn a spot with the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders and came away with the 2018 CFL West Division Rookie of the Year award … served as an assistant coach at Wayne State in 2014 … was the recruiting and pass game coordinator in addition to coaching the wide receivers at Valparaiso … coached four all-conference players at Dayton and helped the Flyers to a 10-1 record in 2010, including the Pioneer Football League Championship … coached Luke Dillion to honorable mention on the 2007 D3football.com All-America team.
