2021-22: Finished third in the 150 freestyle (1:25.49) versus Buffalo…swam the season’s fastest times in the 50 freestyle (24.65), 100 freestyle (52.85), and 100 backstroke (59.97) at the IUPUI House of Champions, the 200 freestyle (1:52.03) and 200 IM (2:08.36) at the MAC Championship meet, and the 50 backstroke (28.80) versus Buffalo.

2020-21: Qualified for the B Final at the MAC Championships in the 200 freestyle (1:54.05) finishing 16th overall…also placed 24th overall in the 100 freestyle (52.11)…finished 27th overall at the MAC Championships in the 50 freestyle (24.04)…member of the 200 freestyle relay (1:34.46) which placed seventh overall at the MAC Championships… member of the 800 freestyle relay (7:31.15) that finished seventh overall at the MAC Championships and now ranks fifth overall in program history… member of the 400 freestyle relay (3:24.35) that placed sixth overall and broke the program record at the MAC Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters under coach Andy Pedersen at Hamilton Southeastern … Witt competed at the IHSAA Sectional meet all four years … placed 4^th in the 200 free at the IHSAA Sectional meet as a senior (1:52.24) and 4^th in the 500 free (5:09.94) … placed 12^th in the 200 free at state her senior season … named All-American as a sophomore and a senior … helped lead her team to a 6^th place finish at state her senior year … Witt also earned a letter in cross country and a letter in track and field as a freshman.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Abby Stearns and Brian Witt … sister, Avery (14) and brother, Charlie (12) … studying Visual Communication and Marketing at Ball State.

WHY BALL STATE: I chose Ball State because the team felt like family and I loved the campus and the environment in general.
