2021-22: MAC Champion in the 100 breaststroke (53.62) and broke the program record…Collected MAC Swimmer of the Week award on Oct 21, Nov 5, Nov 24, Feb 2… swam in the A Final of the 200 breaststroke (1:59.53) finishing third overall and securing the third fastest time in program history…swam the breaststroke leg of the 200 medley relay (1:28.02) that finished fourth overall at the MAC Championships and broke the program record…qualified for the B Final at the MAC Championships in the 50 freestyle (20.21) finishing ninth overall and earning the second fastest time in program history… member of the 200 freestyle relay (1:20.38) that finished third overall and broke the program record… swam the breaststroke leg of the 400 medley relay (3:15.16) that finished third overall and broke the program record… member of the 400 freestyle relay (3:00.96) that finished fifth overall at the MAC Championships and secured the second fastest time in program history…captured the win in the 100 breaststroke (56.67) versus Miami…finished second overall at the Indiana Intercollegiate in both the 100 breaststroke (57.51) and 100 IM (51.51).

2020-21: First 100 breaststroke champion at the MAC for the Cardinals since 2006…Named First Team All-MAC…qualified for the A Final in the 100 breaststroke (53.99) and 200 breaststroke (1:58.41) finishing first overall in the 100 breaststroke and third overall in the 200 breaststroke at the MAC Championships…qualified for the B Final in the 50 freestyle (20.55) finishing ninth overall…member of the 200 freestyle relay (1:21.09) that placed third overall at the MAC Championships and now ranks second in program history…swam the breaststroke leg of the 400 Medley Relay (3:18.24) that placed fourth overall at the MAC Championships and now ranks second in program history… swam the breaststroke leg of the 200 medley relay (1:29.44) that placed third overall at the MAC Championships and broke the program record…member of the 400 freestyle relay (3:01.22) that placed fourth overall and now ranks second in program history…set the Lewellen Pool record for the 100 breaststroke (56.53) versus Eastern Illinois …set the program record for the 100 breaststroke (53.99).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters swimming for the Raiders at Northridge High School…collected All-Conference accolades as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior…placed 4^th in 100 breast (55.03) at the state meet as a senior…also competed in the 50 free at state (21.37)…helped lead the team to two Conference Championships and two Sectional Championships…team earned 5^th place at state Garberick’s freshman season…currently holds the team record in the 100 breast (55.03).

CLUB: Swam for the Northridge Area Swimming Association for 10 years.

PERSONAL: Son of Susan and Joseph Garberick…has one brother, two sisters…studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Ball State.

WHY BALL STATE: I chose Ball State because I love the team and the coaching staff, especially Coach Agnew.
