April 18, 2026 | Men's Basketball
The Ball State men's basketball team and head coach Chris Capko have announced the addition of Purdue transfer Aaron Fine to the program.
The 6-foot-2 guard from Noblesville, Ind., will be a redshirt sophomore as he joins the team in advance of the 2026-27 season.
Fine played in nine games last season for the Boilermakers and posted 11 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field in addition to three assists. The guard scored in six contests in his second campaign at Purdue after redshirting as a true freshman during the 2024-25 season.
An Indiana All-Star as a senior when he averaged 17.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game for Noblesville High School, Fine led the Millers to a No. 2 ranking in Class 4A. The guard produced more than 1,000 points during his high school career. Fine tallied 13.8 points, 3.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds as a junior at Noblesville.
Fine joins K'Jei Parker (UMass) as incoming transfers announced so far for the 2026-27 season, which will be Capko's first at Ball State after being hired in March.
