Men's Diving Finish Competition at 2026 Zone C Championships

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Ball State men's divers Zach Shaddy, Porter Brovont and Ryan Farmer wrapped up their visit to Eastern Michigan's Michael H. Jones Natatorium with strong efforts at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships Tuesday.

Shaddy placed 14th on the 3-meter board on Monday (March 9), scoring 334.70 in the finals. The following day on the 1-meter board, the junior finished 16th with a score of 337.40.

Brovont opened with a score of 241.80 during prelims on 3M, placing 47th. He then placed 48th during 1M prelims with a total of 205.65.

Farmer found himself in 19th during 3M prelims with a score of 325.80. The next day, the MVC Freshman Diver of the Year scored one place below Brovont during prelims on 1M, scoring 205.65 to place 48th.

The Ball State swimming & diving program continues postseason action with a trip to Ocala, Florida for the 2026 CSCAA National Invitational Championships March 12-14.
