Chester Named MAC Offensive Player of the Week

Addie Chester has been named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

The forward / midfielder recorded a pair of goals, including the game-winner in Ball State's 4-0 win at Eastern Illinois on Sunday afternoon.

Chester first scored off a rebound in the 25th minute before providing Ball State's final offense of the day on a goal in the 86th minute. Four minutes prior to that, Chester assisted on Emily Roper's score that gave the visiting Cardinals a 3-0 advantage.

The senior is up to three goals in three matches so far this season after a 2024 season when she was named First Team All-MAC.

This is Ball State's first weekly recognition of the year and Chester's first in her career with the Cardinals. Ball State's next scheduled match is at 1 p.m. on Sunday at IU Indy.
