Men's Basketball Signs Saint Peter's Transfer Armoni Zeigler

The Ball State men's basketball team has announced the signing of Saint Peter's transfer Armoni Zeigler in advance of the 2025-26 season.
Zeigler, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Amityville, N.Y., started in 23 of 27 games played last season for the Peacocks and averaged 11.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 30.7 minutes per game. Zeigler collected a team-high 43 steals in 2024-25 and shot 46.5 percent from the field, 30.2 percent from distance and 71.2 percent on free throws.
Zeigler also led the team in total field goals made (114) and scored a season-best 30 points on Nov. 20 against Saint Elizabeth and posted a 20-point, 13-rebound double-double in the Feb. 23 win over Sacred Heart.
The rising junior scored in double figures 16 times last season and begins his time in Muncie with 503 career points, 248 rebounds, 79 assists and 72 steals.
Zeigler is Ball State's fifth incoming transfer of the offseason joining Kayden Fish from Iowa State, Juwan Maxey from Youngstown State, Devon Barnes from UTEP and Elmore James from Ohio.
