Harker Named to NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List

Garrett Harker has been named to the Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, the NCBWA announced Wednesday afternoon.
Harker is 1 of 56 collegiate pitchers mentioned on the list for the award honoring the nation's top relief pitcher.
A senior from Lebanon, Ind., Harker has compiled seven saves to rank No. 22 in NCAA Division I. The right-handed pitcher boasts a 4-1 record, 3.94 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 36 strikeouts in 29.2 innings entering Wednesday game against Indiana.
Finalists for the award will be announced on June 4, while the winner will be named on June 13 at the College World Series.
