Jenelle and Jennah Rogers Earn MAC Post Season Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Jenelle Rogers was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Most Outstanding Field Performer on Friday morning, announced the MAC. Rogers also earned First-Team All-MAC honors with sister, Jennah Rogers, earning Second-Team All-MAC honors. Â
Jenelle Rogers led the Cardinals at the indoor MAC Championships, collecting a total of 26 points. Leading in four of the five events, Rogers won the pentathlon championship for the second year in a row with a score of 3,998. Later that same day, she finished fourth in the individual long jump event with a mark of 5.84 meters. On Saturday, Rogers finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 15.09 meters and third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.52.Â
Jennah Rogers also had an exceptional meet, finishing second in the 60-meter hurdles. She crossed the finish line with a new personal best time of 8.39, becoming the third-fastest finisher in the 60-meter hurdles in Ball State history. Â
Coming up, Jenelle will travel to Virginia Beach, Virginia next weekend to represent Ball State at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the pentathlon. Â
