October 31, 2025 | Soccer
Addie Chester has been named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Friday afternoon.
The senior scored just over two minutes into Wednesday afternoon's win at Northern Illinois and added an assist about a minute later to give Ball State a 2-0 edge in an eventual 2-1 decision.
Chester concluded the regular season as the MAC leader in goals (11) and points (27) on the year.
This is Ball State's fifth weekly MAC recognition of the season and fourth for Chester as she was also named the Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 26, Sept. 9 and Oct. 21. Freshman Jordyn Klaasen was awarded the Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 14.
Chester and the Cardinals earned the No. 4 seed in the MAC Tournament and are set to play No. 5 seed Kent State at 4 p.m., on Saturday in the opening round in Columbus, Ohio.
