
MAC Unveils 18-game Women’s Basketball Schedule for 2025

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Mid-American Conference office announced today the 2025 women's basketball schedule. The Cardinals are set to face 18-game conference slate with the addition of two contests being played in the second year of the MAC-SBC Challenge.
The Ball State women's basketball team opens its 2025 18-game MAC campaign which will include nine games at home and nine on the road over a 10-week span with a break in February for the second year of the Sun Belt Conference Challenge on Feb. 8. The Cardinals will start conference action at Miami (Jan. 1). Ball State's home league opener is slated for Jan. 4 versus Central Michigan and then BSU will close out MAC play in Worthen Arena against Ohio (March 8).
The conference tournament runs March 12-15 with the league's top eight teams advancing to Cleveland for the quarterfinals, semifinals and the title game on Saturday, March 15.
Ball State had a successful season in 2023-24 with its 28 overall wins and 16 Mid-American Conference victories being program records. The Cardinals were the No. 2 seed in the MAC Tournament, reaching the semifinals for the third-straight season and were getting votes in the USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll for nine straight weeks during the season. Ball State ended its season hosting the first round of the inaugural NCAA Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament.
