
Women’s Tennis Suffers 5-2 Setback at Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY - The Ball State women's tennis team (7-12, 4-3 MAC) suffered a 5-2 setback at Buffalo (16-8, 3-4 MAC) Friday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center.
The Cardinals unfortunately dropped the doubles point to the Bulls after losing on courts two and three.
In singles, Buffalo took four of the six courts to claim the match over Ball State. Anna Planinsek continues to dominate action on the top courts against her respective Mid-American Conference opponents and today was no different as Planinsek took home a 6-3, 3-0 victory after the Bulls Jagmeet Kaur had to retire from the match.
Ella Hazelbaker also won at the No. 6 position in straight sets after posting a 6-4, 6-1 defeat over Mariana Carvajal Torres.
The Ball State women's tennis team returns home Sunday to take on Western Michigan at 1 pm ET. The Cardinals are scheduled to play outdoors at the Foster Adams Tennis Complex/Bill Richards Courts, weather permitting.
