March 26, 2024 | Men's Tennis
MUNCIE, Ind. - Long-time head men's tennis coach Bill Richards has announced the signing of Jenson Bicanic from Toronto, Canada who will join the Cardinals for the 2024-25 season.
"We are very pleased that Jenson has made the decision to join our program," Richards said. "He is a tremendous athlete and will be an outstanding addition. His Canadian rankings and results have been solid throughout his junior career. Most impressive was being ranked 4th in the nation in doubles in the 16 and underage group a year ago."
Unfortunately, Jenson sustained a serious injury in January of 2023 but has fully recovered and has started to return to tournament competition.
Bicanic will become the third player from Toronto who has played for Ball State in past seven years as he joins former Canadian natives Marko and Nemanja Guzina who graduated from Ball State in 2018-19.
