Ball State MBB Alumnus Michael Bennett Named to Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary Team

Ball State men's basketball alumnus Michael Bennett has been selected to the 2025 Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary Team.
Bennett averaged 17.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.7 steals and 3.2 blocks per game as a senior at Brebeuf Jesuit to lead the Braves to a Class 3A state title in 2000. The future Ball State Cardinal was named to the Indiana All-Star team for his efforts.
For his high school career, Bennett had 1,187 total points (13.2 per game) and 506 total rebounds (5.6 per game).
Playing in Muncie from 2000 to 2005, Bennett accumulated 227 points, 205 rebounds and 90 assists during his collegiate career and served as a team captain for the 2004-05 season.
Eighteen men who were senior high school basketball players during the 1999-2000 season were honored with the distinction including the 11 Indiana All-Star members and seven other All-State players. The full list can be found below.
