Parrott Leads Ball State as Cardinals Finish WMU Rio Verde Invitational in Ninth

RIO VERDE, Ariz. – The Ball State women's golf team closed out the WMU Rio Verde Invitational on Sunday. Kiah Parrott led the Cardinals with a tie for 17th, as BSU finished in ninth as a team.
Parrott jumped up 13 spots in the standings with a final-round score of 74 (+2). She collected five birdies and an eagle in the final round. She posted a three-round tally of 226 (+10) and tied for 17th.
Madelin Boyd posted a final round of 80 (+8) with one birdie. She finished tied for 41st with a 230 (+14).
Sarah Gallagher finished the tournament tied for 49th with a 231 (+15). She posted a final-round score of 80 (+8) with three birdies.
Jasmine Driscoll produced a final round of 78 (+6) with one birdie. She tied for 51st with a 232 (+16).
Paige Hillman moved up seven spots on the leaderboard after a round-three score of 79 (+7) with three birdies. She posted a tournament total of 242 (+26) and tied for 75th.
Ball State makes a return trip to Florida for the Spring Break Shootout hosted by FGCU. The Cardinals take to the Lake Jovita Golf Club – South Course for the first round on Monday, March 13.
