Cardinal Baseball Prospects Camp Takes Place Oct. 22

Baseball athletes currently in high school, junior college or at a four-year institution can take advantage of training and evaluation opportunities with Rich Maloney and the Ball State baseball staff by enrolling in prospect camps offered on October 22 at the Ball State baseball facility.

At First Merchants Ball Park, pitchers and catchers will work out from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Hitting instruction takes place from 12:30 to 3:15 p.m., and drillwork with infielders and outfielders takes place from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m.
Camp Registration
Athletes will engage in hitting, fielding and pitching drill work, and have skill evaluations from some of the Midwest's top baseball minds.
"This is a great opportunity for aspiring baseball players to be seen and evaluated by our coaching staff," said Maloney, who saw has seen five Cardinals taken in the MLB draft over the past two seasons. "Several of our current players will assist with instruction. Hope you will consider joining us!"
Maloney, the winningest coach in school history and one of the NCAA's top active coaches in terms of career wins, guided the Cardinals to the 2023 Mid-American Conference championship and a berth in the 2023 NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Cardinals have posted at least 30 wins during 17 seasons with Maloney at the helm.
