Youth Football Skills Challenge coming to Ball State Football October 1st

Cardinals partnering with Muncie Sports Commission to engage area youth
MUNCIE, Ind. - When the Ball State Cardinals line-up against the Northern Illinois Huskies, future college football players will have the opportunity to line-up and take a shot at winning the inaugural Youth Football Skills Challenge, co-hosted by community partners Muncie Sports Commission and Ball State Athletics.
"We are excited to partner with Ball State Athletics to bring this skills challenge event to Scheumann Stadium," said Jon Anderson, executive director of the Muncie Sports Commission. "It's a great opportunity for kids in the community to have some fun and watch a Cardinals game!"
The event is slated for Saturday, Oct. 1st, prior to the Mid-American Conference matchup with the top competitors in each age group advancing to the finals on the field at halftime. Youth are encouraged to register for the price of a game ticket HERE. Each participant will receive a Ball State arm sleeve.
Participants will compete by completing marks at several challenge stations including kicking, passing and agility. For more information, call 765-285-1474 or visit munciesports.com.
