Cardinals and Hawkeyes to meet at Kinnick Stadium
MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State and Iowa have agreed to meet on the gridiron, it was announced Tuesday. The Cardinals and Hawkeyes are scheduled to meet at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa on Sept. 4, 2027.
Ball State has squared off with Iowa three times in program history with all three matchups taking place in Iowa City (2005, 2010, 2014). In the most recent matchup, the Cardinals held a 13-3 lead before the Hawkeyes scored two touchdowns in the final three minutes to take the decision, 17-13.
Ball State has faced a team from the Big Ten 34 times in program history, including seven of the last eight seasons.
