Schweitzer Named MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly Player and Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday. Tyler Schweitzer was named the MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week after a stellar outing on the mound for Ball State.
Schweitzer was phenomenal for the Cardinals in his lone start over the weekend against Kent State. He picked up a complete-game shutout and scattered just two hits. He finished with nine strikeouts and did not walk anyone. Opponents only hit .087 against him for the week. He improved to 8-2 on the season. This is his third time earning MAC Pitcher of the Week.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, May 13, for their final home series of the season. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m.
