Schweitzer Named MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly Player and Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Tyler Schweitzer was named the MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week after an outstanding outing on the mound for Ball State.
Tyler Schweitzer was dominant in a complete-game effort with a career-high 12 strikeouts. He improved to 5-2 as he allowed a single run on just four hits. He held the Zips to a .160 batting average. He ranks second in the MAC with 11.60 strikeouts per nine innings.
Ball State is scheduled to play a single game at Western Michigan on Tuesday, April 19. First pitch is slated for 3:05 p.m.
