WBB's Ally Becki Named MAC Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ball State freshman Ally Becki (Brownsburg, Ind./Brownsburg) has earned Mid-American Conference Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
Becki, a true freshman, continues to shine for the Cardinals and this week was no different. Becki averaged 21.0 points per game for the Cardinals off 53 percent shooting from the field while dishing out 8.0 assist per contest helping Ball State extend its win streak to five with wins over Ohio and Bowling Green.
Becki began the week with a career best 27-point performance at Ohio after knocking down seven 3-pointers against the Bobcats. She also pulled down six rebounds, dished out eight assists and registered two steals.
On Saturday, Becki reached the 20+ point plateau yet again after scoring 21 points with 13 of those points being in the first half alone. Becki was close to a triple double needing one more rebound and assist with nine in each category.
For the week, Becki averaged 21.0 points per game, 7.5 rebounds, 8.0 assists and 2.5 steals while shooting 53 percent from the field and 48 percent from behind the arc.
The Ball State women's basketball team will play at Kent State on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. ET in the M.A.C. Center.
