Gymnastics To Host Red vs. White Sunday

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State gymnastics fans can get their first glimpse of the 2023 Cardinals in action Sunday (Dec. 11), when the squad hosts its annual Red vs. White meet at 1 p.m. inside Worthen Arena.

The FREE event will see the Cardinals roster split and compete versus itself in front of a pair of judges.Â
Â
This will give the team a glimpse of what the competitive season will look like when it starts Friday, Jan. 6, with a quad meet at national powerhouse Florida. The season-opening meet will include Lindenwood and West Virginia.

Sunday's scheduled teams are as follows:
White Team:Â Victoria Henry, Megan Teter, Taylor Waldo, Dilynn Blair, Grace Evans, Aislyn LaBadie, Leah White, Karah Vargo
Â
Red Team:Â Hannah Ruthberg, Suki Pfister, Zoe Middleton, Grace Sumner, Lauren Volpe, Alauna Simms, Erica Cooper, Cai Afalla, Kenna Geibel
Â
Each team will have three competitors slated for each event (vault, bars, beam, and floor), which will be scored by the judges in attendance. Some exhibition routines will also be thrown in the mix.
