Driscoll Paces Cardinals on Day One of Little Rock Classic

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. – Jasmine Driscoll led the Ball State women's golf team on day one of the Little Rock Classic at the Diamante Country Club on Monday. Driscoll is tied for 28th and the Cardinals sit in 10th.
The Diamante Country Club is a difficult, par-72, 6,051-yard course. No teams finished the two rounds below par, despite Georgia State shooting a 283 (-5) in the second round and Missouri State shooting a 287 (-1) in the opening round.
Driscoll started the day with two birdies and a score of 73 (+1). In the second round, she shot a 77 (+5). Her two-round tally of 150 (+6) has her in a tie for 28th.
Sarah Gallagher began the day with two birdies in the first round and a mark of 78 (+6). She rocketed up 16 spots on the leaderboard after a second-round score of 73 (+1). Her two-round score of 151 (+7) has her tied for 35th.
Madelin Boyd recorded a 74 (+2) with two birdies in round one. She added a tally of 79 (+7) and has a two-round mark of 153 (+9). She is tied for 50th after day one.
Peyton Broce moved up six spots into a tie for 52nd after round two. She began the day with a 79 (+7) and followed that with a 75 (+3). She has one birdie for the tournament and has a combined score of 154 (+10).
Paige Hillman started the tournament with a 76 (+4) with one birdie. She posted an 85 (+13) in round two. Her two-round score of 161 (+17) has her tied for 77th.
The Cardinals return to the Diamante Country Club on Tuesday for the final round of the Little Rock Classic. Tuesday will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. ET and live results can be found on golfstat.com.
