
Swimming & Diving Programs Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Status

RICHMOND, Va. - - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced that the Ball State University men's and women's swimming & diving programs have earned Scholar All-America honors for their efforts in the classroom last semester. Â

The men's squad finished the 2021 spring semester with a 3.18 GPA among 25 countable student-athletes, while the women's squad earned a 3.56 GPA among 30 countable student-athletes.
"Coach Agnew has pointed the Cardinals in the right direction - both in the pool and classroom," noted CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. "These are some of the best ambassadors of Ball State and Athletic Director Goetz, President Mearns, and Dr. Lindsey Blom (Faculty Athletic Representative) can and should be proud of these 55 men & women."
To be eligible for the award, teams must have a GPA of at least 3.0 for the semester. A total of 721 programs from 426 institutions across the NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA levels were honored with the award in the spring of 2021.
