May 20, 2021 | Track & Field
MUNCIE - The Ball State track & field program has added one of the best high school sprinters in Ohio. Moriah Johnson, a native of Westerville, Ohio, will compete for Ball State beginning in 2022.
"We are excited to welcome Moriah Johnson to our program," head coach Brian Etelman said. "She had a great indoor season, finishing ranked in the top 10 in Ohio in both the 60 and 200. She's put together a nice outdoor season thus far and we are looking forward to her having an eye-opening finish to her senior year. We expect her to bring a strong work ethic and a passion for growth to our sprint group."
Johnson's current PR times are 7.70 in the 60m, 12.19 in the 100m and 25.39 in the 200m.Â
