Seven Gym Cards Named Academic All-MAC

Seven gymnasts from Ball State are academic All-MAC honorees for the 2021 season. Sandra Elsadek, Grace Evans, Arden Hudson, Marissa Nychyk, Stefanie Schweikert, Bri Slonim and Megan Teter were all honored for their performances in the classroom while being key contributors to the team's success.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
As a team, the Cardinals had a memorable year, starting 12-0Â in head-to-head scoring and defeating every MAC opponent at least once. They set numerous school records and sent four gymnasts (Evans, Teter, Claudia Goyco, Victoria Henry) to the NCAA Regional at Alabama.
