Eleven Cardinals Earned a Degree This Summer

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State's summer commencement was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 18. Even though the University was unable to hold its annual ceremony due to COVID-19, a total of 11 student-athletes representing five sports completed their degrees over the summer.

Including the latest list of graduates, a total of 93 student-athletes representing all 19 of Ball State's varsity sports earned a degree during the 2019-20 academic year. Of those student-athletes, seven earned a master's degree.

Ball State is currently developing plans to recognize spring and summer graduates on Saturday, October 10, 2020. For more information, visit bsu.edu/commencement.

Football (3) – Walter Fletcher*, Jake McKenzie, Andrew Poenitsch*

Softball (1) – Kennedy Wynn
