Ball State Athletics Launches Cardinal Couriers

Ball State fans whose health can be potentially compromised during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak can now get an assist from volunteers in the athletics department. Athletics director Beth Goetz and the Cardinals are announcing the launch of Cardinal Couriers, a pilot program where athletics staffers help fans pick up items such as groceries and medical prescriptions in their time of need.

Here's how Cardinal Couriers works:
- Ball State fans who may need legitimate assistance running an errand can submit a request HERE
- The athletics department will review the request and respond as necessary
- A volunteer will be deployed to fulfill the request, following safety procedures along the way
- All social distancing policies will be adhered to at all times
- Gloves will be worn when picking up payment and dropping of items. (Athletics has supply of gloves available for this purpose)
- Regular handwashing/sanitizing will occur prior, at appropriate times during, and immediately after delivery
