Goyco Voted MAC Specialist of the Week

After two standout floor exercise routines last weekend, Claudia Goyco was voted as this MAC Specialist of the Week. It's the second time this season she's earned that award.
Goyco registered a 9.875 floor score on Friday, Feb. 14 at Georgia and then followed that by tying her career high on Sunday. She scored a 9.900 in a win over Eastern Michigan that helped the Cardinals to a school-record team mark of 195.750.
Goyco, a junior from Buford, Ga., has been the team's top scorer on floor, performing to a 9.800 standard or better in each meet this season. She owns a 9.900 in each of BSU's home meets this season and has scored 9.800 or better in 10 of the last 11 meets dating back to last season.Â
Fans can catch Goyco's electric floor routine Sunday, Feb. 23 at Worthen Arena at 1 p.m. Video of her 9.900 routine from last week is below.
