Ball State is excited to open the 2019 football stadium Saturday, Aug. 31 at noon with the Ruoff Kickoff Classic against Indiana at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Here is your guide of things to know before you head to the game …Â
Tickets
Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase in advance to avoid long lines. Tickets can be purchased in advance online, by visiting the Stoops/Buick GMC Ticket Center at Worthen Arena or by calling 888-BSU-TICKET.

Parking Lots Open:Â 7 a.m.
Ticket Office Opens:Â 9 a.m. (Southeast corner of stadium)
Gates Open:Â 10:30 a.m.
Kickoff: Noon
Player Guest Entrance:Â Southeast Entrance
Pre-Game Kids Zone:Â South Concourse (face painting, balloon artistry and more)
Pacemates in the House
Indiana Pacemates dance team members Missy and Jenna, both Ball State alumnae, and members of the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders, including BSU alumna Ambria, will be on hand from noon to 1 p.m. on the South Concourse.

Clear Bag Policy for Ruoff Kickoff Classic

- Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and cannot exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.
- After proper inspection at the gate designated for medical purposes, an exception will be made for medically necessary items.Â

Alumni Association Pregame Tailgate
10 a.m. to Noon
West Club Area inside Lucas Oil Stadium
- Must have made a reservation with the Alumni Association to attend.
- Attendees will enter via the West gates of Lucas Oil Stadium.
- Attendees must have their game/suite ticket to enter the stadium gates and then will check in at the Alumni Association registration table inside the stadium.
- The 5 Speeds band will provide entertainment.
- A pep rally/program will begin at 11 a.m. featuring President Geoffrey Mearns and Director of Athletics Beth Goetz.
