Former Cardinals soccer student-athlete to perform at Worthen Arena
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Following her emergence on the national stage on Kelly Clarkson's Team Kelly and Blake Shelton's Team Blake, Lauren Hall is coming home to Ball State.
Hall, a former soccer standout for the Cardinals and 2016 graduate, recently concluded a memorable run as a contestant on NBC's The Voice, Season 17. She is scheduled to perform at halftime of the annual Ball State women's basketball Field Trip Day game Wednesday, November 20th, which tips at 11:30 a.m. against Xavier inside Worthen Arena. In addition, she will perform the Star-Spangled Banner before the men's basketball game later that evening as the Cards host Northern Kentucky at 7 p.m.
"There's nothing better than welcoming back our Cardinals to The Nest," director of athletics, Beth Goetz said. "Having Lauren back to perform and tell her story after her impressive display on The Voice will be fun for everyone on Wednesday. We encourage all of our supporters to join us!"
Opportunities for fans to meet Hall during her visit will be announced in the coming days.
"I am so incredibly excited to be able to come back to Muncie," Hall remarked. "I've received so much support from the Ball State and Muncie community throughout my journey and I can't wait to come back, perform, and meet my fellow Cardinals!"
Fans wishing to watch Hall's performances are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance by calling 888-BSU-TICKET or visiting the Stoops Buick/GMC Ticket Center at the lower level Gate 1 entrance of Worthen Arena. Elementary schools wishing to take part in the Field Trip Day festivities may email bsusports@bsu.edu or call 765-285-3243. Ball State students are free with a valid BSU ID card.
