Cross Country Adjusts Times For Next Friday's Cardinal Classic

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State cross country fans will have a little shorter wait for next Friday's (Oct. 18) Cardinals Classic, as the women's 6K race has been bumped up to a 4:45 p.m. start.
The race, which will be followed by a men's 8K event at 5:15 p.m., is the starting point for the Ball State cross country and track & field program's Alumni Weekend festivities. Immediately following the men's race, all alumni and their guests will be invited to a social event at the Muncie Elks Clubhouse.
On Saturday, Oct. 19, the program sets up camp in CharlieTown beginning at Noon for an alumni tailgate in conjunction with Ball State football's homecoming game versus Toledo at 2 p.m.
