Former Players Return to Muncie for Baseball’s Annual Alumni Weekend

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State baseball team held its annual alumni weekend this past weekend. Events included a tailgate prior to the Cardinals home football game on Saturday and a golf outing at The Players Club in Yorktown Sunday morning.
"It was a great turnout for tailgating and golf," head coach Rich Maloney said. "I couldn't be more thankful for the guys continuing to support the Ball State baseball program."
The festivities began with a tailgate at First Merchants Ballpark Complex prior to the football game against WKU. The players were recognized during the football game at one of the timeouts. The following day, nearly 100 golfers turned out for a round of golf at The Players Club. Four pitchers of the famed 2014 'Rat Pack' team took home top honors –BJ Butler, Tyler Jordan, Clay Manering and Kyle Raleigh. (picture below, Raleigh not pictured)
