Weather Forecast Forces Softball to Adjust Weekend Schedule

MUNCIE, Ind.- - With rain expected for most of the day Saturday, Ball State softball's weekend series versus Western Michigan has been adjusted.

The Cardinals (26-12; 8-3 Mid-American Conference) and Broncos (20-17; 7-5 MAC) will now play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Friday and try for a 1 p.m. single game Saturday, weather permitting.

Heading into the fourth weekend of league play, Ball State has yet to play a MAC series as originally scheduled. The Cardinals have also had one conference game versus Northern Illinois canceled due to weather.
