Women’s Swimming and Diving Rounds Out MAC Championships

ATHENS, Ohio –The Ball State women's swimming and diving team concluded action at the Mid-American Conference Championships Saturday evening with 158 total points.

In the 3-meter dive, Rachel Bertram earned 12 points for Ball State with a score of 280.50. Rachel Smallwood also earned points for the Cardinals, finishing 12^th with a score of 277.75.

Sophomore Anne Vormohr added more points on the board for Ball State with a 14^th place finish in the 200 backstroke. Vormohr earned that spot with a time of 2:02.67.

Elizabeth Graham, Cassidy Blackwin and Kayla Molnar each competed in the 1650 freestyle. Graham earned 19^th with a time of 17:33.12, over a whole minute faster than her seeded time. Blackwin was in the 20 spot while Molnar finished in 21^st place.

In the 400 freestyle relay, Peighton Gilbert, Sophie Bader, Amanda Kedzierski and Vormohr came together to earn 22 points for Ball State. This squad earned eighth place with a final time of 3:29.13.
