Baseball Game at NIU Suspended Until Sunday

DeKALB, Ill. – Ball State and Northern Illinois couldn't finish the rubber game of the series Saturday due to rain in the bottom of the seventh inning. NIU was leading at the time the game was halted, 11-8.
The two teams will try to complete the game Sunday morning. Play is scheduled to resume at 11 a.m. ET. If inclement weather prevents the game from resuming at that time, the game would be called and Northern Illinois would earn a 9-8 victory (score after 6.5 complete innings).
