Men's Tennis Suffers Loss At Indiana; Lucas Andersen Improves To 3-1

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (1-3) was edged out by a 5-2 loss to Indiana Friday night in Bloomington.
Although the Cardinals dropped the doubles point to the Hoosiers, the match was highlighted by Lucas Andersen who took the the top court win in singles play over Raheel Manji 7-5, 6-2. Patrick Downs earned the second win for the Cardinals today after he took down Hoosier Oliver Sec in straight sets 7-5, 6-4.
The Ball State men's tennis team drops to 1-3 in spring play; however, Lucas Andersen improved to 3-1 in No. 1 singles action. The Cardinals continue sping action when they host Michigan State Saturday, Feb. 4th, at 1 p.m. in Muncie at the YMCA Tennis Center.
