Game Time Changed For Ball State At Indiana
July 08, 2016 | Football
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State football game at Indiana on Sept. 10 has been changed to a 4 p.m. (EST) kickoff and will be televised on ESPNews. The announcement was made today by the Big Ten Conference.
The Hoosiers lead the all-time series by a count of 4-3. However, Ball State has won each of the last three meetings, including a 41-39 triumph in Bloomington in 2012. The Cardinals won that game in dramatic fashion as Steven Schott connected on a game-winning 42-yard field goal as time expired.
The two teams are also scheduled to meet in Bloomington in both 2018 and 2020. They will play at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in 2019.
Ball State opens its 2016 campaign on Friday, Sept. 2 at Georgia State. The home opener is slated for Saturday, Sept. 17 against Eastern Kentucky and will be broadcast on ESPN3 beginning at 3 p.m.
