Kelli Miller Named One of AVCA?s Thirty Under 30 Award Winners

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State women's volleyball assistant coach Kelli Miller was selected as one of the 2016 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Thirty Under 30 Award winners.
The 29-year-old Miller is one of only 12 NCAA Division I coaches to make the list which honors up-and-coming coaching talent at all levels of the sport. She is also the only representative from the Mid-American Conference.
Miller recently completed her sixth season on the Ball State staff. During her tenure, she has helped guide the Cardinals to a 119-68 (64-32 MAC) record. The program won the 2010 MAC Regular Season Championship, earned an at-large berth into the 2011 NCAA Tournament and captured the 2013 MAC West Division crown.
She has helped Ball State student-athletes earn 15 All-MAC First Team honors, five All-MAC Second Team accolades and three MAC All-Freshman Team awards.
Miller is currently helping guide the Cardinals through its 2016 spring schedule, which continues tonight (Friday, April 8) with a 5:30 p.m. match versus Butler at Worthen Arena. Ball State is also scheduled to play tournaments in Indianapolis (April 16) and at Purdue (April 23) over the next few weeks.
