Cardinals Take on the Wolfpack

"I feel pretty good going into the last regular season meet," head coach Joanna Saleem said. "We have had a successful season this year building meet to meet. I think the team has determination and focus after the last meet in Oregon."
Out west, the team managed a 48.800 on vault, 48.650 on bars, 47.600 on beam, and in conclusion a 47.375 on floor.
On beam Kayla Beckler performed a solid routine scoring a 9.775, placing eighth. Jordyn Penny scored a 9.675 and Baylee Bell scored a 9.575, respectively.
On floor Erin Patchey stood sixth with a score of 9.775. Clare Collins followed with a score of 9.725.
On vault Erin Patchey scored a 9.800 earning her third place. Jordyn Penny and Sarah Ebeyer tied for fifth with scores of 9.775.
On bars Madison Howell placed sixth with a score of 9.775. Jordyn Penny and Kayla Beckler followed in seventh and eighth with scores of 9.750 and 9.725.
"They know that they can do better then what they did," Saleem said. "I know they want to finish on a solid note before the Mid-American Conference Championship."

The Cardinals return to host the Mid-American Conference Championship Saturday, Mar. 19 at 2 p.m. in Worthen Arena.
