Football Opens Spring Practice on March 22

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State football team will hold the first of its 15 spring practices next Tuesday, March 22. This will be the first practice for the squad under new head coach Mike Neu.
Ball State will hold practices on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, as well as Saturday mornings for five consecutive weeks. Weekday afternoon practices will start at 3:30 p.m., while Saturday practices will kick off at 9:25 a.m.
The Cardinals are scheduled to wrap up the spring season with a Spring Game on Saturday, April 23.
Ball State is poised to return six starters on offense and nine on defense for 2016. The Cardinals kick off their 2016 season the first weekend in September with a trip to Georgia State. Ball State's home opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 17 against Eastern Kentucky.
