Gymnastics to Host Red vs. White Intrasquad Meet

Ball State gymnastics team, under the direction of head coach Joanna Saleem, is hosting its annual Red vs. White Meet Sunday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. in Worthen Arena.
The Cardinals return seniors Sarah Ebeyer, Kayla Beckler, Jala Washington, Shelby Arms and Miranda Kuehl to the 2016-17 squad.
Ebeyer and Beckler both qualified for the NCAA Regional competition held in Iowa City, Iowa last year. Ebeyer competed on vault scoring a 9.650 and on floor with a 9.700. Beckler competed bars and earned at 9.725.Â
During the 2016 Mid-American Conference Championships, Washington stood fourth on the MAC podium with a vault score of 9.800.
Arms managed to earn a new career high on vault, 9.750. She matched this high at three meets during the 2016 season.
Kuehl scored a season high 9.725 vs Bowling Green.
Ball State's gymnastics team will open the regular season Jan. 6, at Missouri before hosting Northern Illinois Jan. 15 at 7 p.m.
