Don't be caught wearing other school's spirit-wear by Charlie Cardinal himself!

It's homecoming week here at Ball State as the football Cardinals get set to host the Akron Zips Saturday at 3pm inside Scheumann Stadium. But while Saturday marks a big game, it's also the end of one of the biggest weeks for school spirit around campus. With that in mind, Charlie Cardinal was on the lookout with the Code Red dance team and spirit squads for what we're calling "Cardinal Sinners."

Now you're probably asking, "what, pray tell, is a Cardinal Sinner?" Well, glad you asked.

Cardinal Sinner \ 'kard(?)nl 'sin-r \ n 1: a Ball State student or staff member wearing spirit-wear for another college or university while on Ball State's campus. The offense is made worse if worn while attedning athletic competitions or during homecoming week.

So this week, in the middle of homecoming fever, Charlie Cardinal and the spirt squads went out in search of Cardinal Sinners. When they found them on campus they called them out...and then gave them a brand new Ball State shirt to wear instead. Check it out!

And be aware, you never know when Charlie might be back out on the prowl looking for more Cardinal Sinners!
