On the three turnovers last week at Buffalo …
"We've got to get back, correct our mistakes, eliminate the turnovers, have a great week of preparation here and get ready for an exciting homecoming weekend … All of our guys know that you've got to come out and practice. You've got to come out and limit your mistakes in practice and make sure you know what you're doing offensively and you'll be out on the field."
On James Gilbert's big game against the Bulls …
"James (Gilbert) is a hungry guy. He's a guy that always has a smile on his face. He'll be ready to go back to work on the practice field tomorrow to prepare for this next game."
Looking ahead to Akron …
"They're a good football program and they're right in the thick of things in the MAC. We know they're disappointed about the loss but I think the credit goes to Western Michigan more than anything for just playing mistake-free football. They're very consistent and confident right now. Akron will be ready to go, there's a lot on the line for them and for us and we'll be ready to go when they get here."
