Baseball's Alumni & Friends Weekend Set for Oct. 2-4

Ball State's baseball program will hold its annual Alumni and Friends Weekend Oct. 2-4, including a Sunday golf outing at Delaware Country Club.
The weekend activities will begin with a 3 p.m. exhibition game Friday between the Cardinals and the Ontario Blue Jays.
Saturday at noon the alumni and friends will tailgate prior to the Ball State home football game vs. Toledo. The tailgate will be at Ball Diamond in the First Merchants Ballpark Complex, which is in the midst of renovations for the 2016 season. The Cardinals football game is slated for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
All alumni will be recognized during the game and a postgame hospitality will be held at Sullivan's Bar and Grill in Muncie, Ind., following the football game.
The baseball team's annual golf outing will be Sunday at 10 a.m. at Delaware Country Club and the cost is $100 per player. The golf outing is a Florida Scramble format and includes gift, continental breakfast, golf cart, hole prizes, drinks and dinner. In addition, the registration form includes an opportunity to be a hole sponsor or beverage sponsor for the outing.
