Women?s Volleyball Closes Preseason Camp With Alumni Match

MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State women's volleyball team closed its 2015 preseason camp Saturday morning with its annual alumni match at Worthen Arena.
While the current Cardinals won the match by a score of 3-1, the alumni squad capped the pre-determined four set contest by pulling out a thrilling 26-24 victory.
Alumni joining the Cardinals for the match were: Julie Moore (Breivogel), Karin Caudill, Leesa Fuelling (Gross), Kylee Fuller (Baker), Mindy Marx, Brittany McGinnis, Alyssa Rio and Kaylee Schembra.
The Ball State women's volleyball team officially opens the 2015 season this coming weekend, when it hosts the Active Ankle Challenge (Aug. 28-29).
The two-day tournament begins Friday at 10 a.m. when New Mexico battles Belmont, while the Cardinals end the morning session with a noon match versus Albany.
