All-Access: What it Takes to Run 110's
July 23, 2015 | Football
Ball State football is known for the 'Feeley Factor.' Strength and Conditioning Coach David Feeley has all sorts of tactics and techniques to help get the Cardinals in top shape.
One of the most notable challenges the Cardinals players face from Feeley is the 110. A 110 is as it sounds; a 110 yard sprint from the back of one endzone through the goal line of the other. The Cardinals do that anywhere from 16 to 30 times.
Ball State All-Access host Joel Godett wanted to find out exactly how grueling the 110 challenge is, so he decided to give it a try. Watch as Joel and Feeley combine to demonstrate just what goes into that kind of running. Joel's goal was to hit the 16 mark. Let's just say things didn't go as planned.
The segment ends with Joel calling out NFL Network's Rich Eisen to try to run 110's as well. Eisen is famous for running a 40-yard dash every year at the NFL Combine. Stay tuned to see if Eisen answers the bell!
